StL CL has a 2000 Cherokee for $2800 and a 2005 camrey for like $3000.

Best was a person selling their eBay store for $200, a bunch of junk it looked like.

$2K is an okay price for one of these if you intend to build an offroader. They still have solid axles front and rear and you can get lifts for not terribly outrageous amounts of money. For about 4 grand you can have a decent off road toy. But speaking from experience, these are either perfectly adept daily drivers or nearly total nightmares.
